New Builds
New Construction Wiring in Clyde Hill, WA
On a new build the electrical scope is set long before anyone pulls cable. We price from the drawings, rough in to the programme, and trim out when the finishes are ready. Discuss the build on (000) 000-0000.
New construction is the one situation where everything can be done the way it should be, because nothing has to be worked around. That makes the planning stage matter more than the installation: circuit counts, lighting layouts, panel location and capacity for what gets added later are all much cheaper to decide now than to revisit once the house is finished.
How it goes
What the job looks like
01
Price from the drawings
We take off the plan rather than estimating, so the number means something.
02
Service and rough-in
Temporary power, service entry, panel and all branch circuits set out for inspection.
03
Trim and commission
Devices and fittings in, every circuit tested, labelled and handed over with the directory complete.
Detail
What we watch for
- Capacity for later — chargers, heat pumps and shop circuits allowed for now rather than retrofitted
- Lighting designed room by room — switching planned for how each room is used, not dropped in symmetrically
- Inspection stages met — temporary power, rough-in and final each scheduled rather than chased
- Panel sited sensibly — somewhere reachable, not behind a future wardrobe
Questions
Asked often
When do you need to be involved?
As early as the drawings exist. Decisions about panel location, service size and circuit count are nearly free at design stage and expensive once framing is up. We are happy to look at a plan before anyone has broken ground.
Do you handle the temporary power?
Yes, the temporary service for the site is part of the scope on most builds. We set it up and coordinate the inspection so the other trades have power when they need it.
