Dedicated Circuit Installation in Clyde Hill

When a breaker keeps tripping, the usual cause is not a fault but a circuit doing two jobs at once. A dedicated run fixes it properly. Describe what keeps tripping on (000) 000-0000.

Circuit breakers in a residential panel

Appliances that draw heavily and continuously belong on their own circuit: ranges, ovens, dryers, hot tubs, well pumps, workshop tools, and increasingly home office kit and server cupboards. Sharing is what causes the nuisance tripping people live with for years, and the fix is almost always a new run rather than a bigger breaker.

How it goes

What the job looks like

01

Confirm the load

We measure what the appliance actually draws rather than trusting the plate rating alone.

02

Find a route

We work out the cleanest run from the panel and tell you what access it needs.

03

Install and label

The circuit goes in, the breaker is sized to the load, and the panel directory is updated so the next person knows.

Detail

What we watch for

Circuit breakers in a residential panel
  • Breaker sized to the load — not simply the next size up, which hides a problem rather than fixing it
  • GFCI and AFCI where required — kitchens, baths, garages, outdoors and most living areas have specific requirements
  • Panel directory updated — every circuit we add is written into the schedule, legibly
  • Surface or concealed — we will tell you honestly which the route allows before you decide

Questions

Asked often

Can I just fit a bigger breaker?

No, and it is worth being clear about why. The breaker protects the cable, not the appliance. Fitting a larger one on existing cable removes the protection and leaves the cable able to overheat before the breaker ever trips.

Will you need to open walls?

Often not. Garages, basements, crawl spaces and attics usually give a route that avoids finished surfaces. Where a run has to cross a finished room we will show you the path and the access points before any work starts.
